Celebration! Creativity! ROBOTS!
Saturday, March 25, 1-4pm | Friend’s Meeting House, 15th and Cherry Street
We will be having our second annual robot-themed fundraiser on March 25th at The Friends Meeting House at 15th and Cherry Street.
The Hacktory’s second annual robot battle is a celebration of creativity, technical innovation, community, and fun! At the event, there will be robot battles, a robot photo booth, snacks, great prizes, and more!
We believe hacking and especially robots should be accessible to everyone, which is why our tickets start at just $10 for early bird spectators, and starting at $20 for our family spectator ticket (1 adult, 2 kids).
Battle a robot!
Beginners and young makers: come build your own bot to battle it out and go for the glory! Experienced robot enthusiasts: come to show off your skills, but be aware you may incur a high-tech penalty for advanced features. Teams may consist of up to 4 members, and a ticket covers your team’s entry into the competition and the event. Just like last year, the Grand Prize this year will be a complete 3D Printer kit supplied by SeeMeCNC. This event follows the Hebocon rules, so strategy is more important than advanced technical features, that means anyone can win! See the full rules here.
New to robots? We can help!
Don’t have a team? No problem! We’ll have not one, but TWO workshops where you can build a bot that is fit to compete. Attending a workshop also gets you a discount code for a competitor or spectator ticket. Awesome! Get the details over on in the workshops section
