Coworking is child’s play in Manayunk

Here’s an idea that’s a long time coming:  Coworking for Parents, a Philly coworking space with childcare.

Hot on the heels of the Mothership HackerMoms hackerspace in Berkeley, Philadelphian Aliza Schlaback is starting up a coworking space that’s open to everyone but “caters to the needs of entrepreneurial parents and other work-from-home web designers, developers, writers, marketers, artists, small business owners, telecommuters, and more.”  This is great news for those of us who have been talking about how to make our local tech scene more accessible to parents in a pretty kid-unfriendly environment.  Best of luck to Aliza, and sign up for their newsletter for updates!
