Quench your thirst for beer and science this summer!

One of our favorite watering holes National Mechanics is hosting Science on Tap, a monthly science lecture sponsored by the Academy of Natural Sciences, the The American Philosophical Society (APS) Museum, CHF, and the Wagner Free Institute of Science. Don’t expect a snore symphony though, these talks are aimed curious, inquisitive young minds, so bring your questions!

The next event will be June 14 featuring “The Slippery Facts About Oil Spills” presented by David Velinsky, Vice President for Environmental Research and Senior Scientist, Geochemistry Section, Academy of Natural Sciences.

Come check it out with us, or read more about it here on the Chemical Heritage Foundation’s website.
