Announcing Kinect Hacking at The Hacktory

You’ve been asking for it, and we’ve known for awhile it would be a good idea to bring back a regular hacking event, so we’re going to make it happen. We’re buying a kinect (Microsoft/XBox’s newest game console that allows you to do amazing motion and body sensing) and let you do stuff like this starting Thursday June 30 Tuesday June 28. Our kinect may not have arrived, so it’ll just be a general open house if that’s the case. Here’s another video, an amazing example of what the kinect can do. We want to see what else we can do with it, and collaborate with anyone who’s interested. This will be on a trial basis for the summer, we’ll start by going from 7 to 9 pm, and see how it works!
