DIYers may or may not have heard of coroplast, a kind of corrugated plastic that’s really sturdy and lightweight. We looked into getting some for our awesome project for GROSSED OUT and just wanted to pass along what we’ve found. Two resources that all Philly DIYers should be aware of are Everything Plastic and TAWS. Their coroplast comes in 4′x8′ sheets for $25 each, with a variety of colors you can order. They were very helpful over the phone answering our questions and both have websites with instructions and project ideas, although you might need to shield your eyes from the 90′s web design.

You can find white 4′x8′ sheets of Corroplast for about $12 at many building supply stores like Woodland Supply in West Philly. This is less than half what TAWS charges, but at that price you can only get it in white. It’s really versatile stuff.
