On Monday we convened for our weekly Open Hack. The evening started with plans for HOPE, which several Hacktory members are attending. We’ll be participating in the Hackerspaces Village and running a Hacking the Gender Gap Workshop on Saturday. Daniel and Christalee soldered a bunch of alligator clips to wires for use in the upcoming Intro to Sensors class.
Two folks who just recently moved to the area came to check out the space. We talked a bit about our respective backgrounds and the things we like to work on. Then, answering questions about other nifty local organizations, we ended up with a (partial) Hacktory Guide to Philly on the whiteboard. Add your favorite local events in the comments!
