Philadelphia Woodworks Grand Opening this Sunday

Have you heard of the new community woodshop in Manayunk? Philadelphia Woodworks an 8,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art woodshop, providing full access for members 6 days a week (Tues-Sun), nights and weekends. They have a wide range of membership options to fit anyone’s skill, schedule, or budget. They are equipped with a Saw Stop Table Saw, the safest table saw that senses contact with skin and immediately brakes.

Their Grand Opening party is this Sunday April 22nd from 10 – 5 pm. Stop by their location at the corner of Umbria & Lemonte streets to get a tour and some snacks. If you can’t make it this Sunday, we’re looking forward to setting up a tour for Hacktory fans soon, so keep an eye out for that too.
