oneString uses an Arduino board to make an electronic folk instrument inspired by a Diddley Bow. The creator Wil Lindsay is a master at using technology creatively. He taught the first Intro to Arduino class at The Hacktory and has taught many more since then, and also sometimes does visuals for 8static.
His kickstarter page includes more information about where this idea came from. Wil sent along these photos to compare an original Diddley Bow with oneString. With a little luck Wil can make it to our Arduino Show and Tell on April 14th so we’ll be able to see it up close then.
