We were thrilled to be selected as one of the finalists. We heard there were over 1200 applicants, so we are extremely humbled to have our idea recognized as worthy of moving on. Even if we are not selected for funding, the chance to imagine a project that could have a huge impact on Philly, aspiring electronic artists, and the hackerspace scene is awesome. We’ve already done a lot of refining on our original idea, to create a corps of interactive artist teachers. We’ll post more details soon!
