Thanks to everyone who made it out to our meeting last night, the old reliables and the new faces. Many organizations like ours go through restructuring/identity crisis every few years, and we are in that process again, working to strengthen the organization and make it more sustainable. I was looking for a photo to represent “teamwork” and came across this one, which I think is pretty accurate since we have so many women involved in the organization (and Andrew doesn’t seem to mind). Part of what we’re working on is creating more specific positions for our advisory committee, and we could use some new blood. If you’re interested in getting involved or want to find out more, leave a comment or send us an email at contact [at] thehacktory [dot] org.
Pledge on our kickstarter today!
Help us give Philly artists a chance to take our classes and make amazing new work with technology. If we meet our goal, it will be matched by the Knight Foundation. The last day of the campaign is Monday, so add your pledge today.
